NLJ this week: Safe at work?

Employers face important health and safety questions during these uncertain times

For frontline workers, an adequate supply of gloves, masks and hand sanitisers is an obvious requirement. Safeguarding duties may also cover the provision of soap and water, allowing staff to work from home and limiting numbers of customers in shops.

Writing in NLJ this week, Charles Durrant & Letitia Egan, of 3 Temple Gardens, highlight the obligations, issues and guidance available so that employers can protect staff ‘as far as is reasonably practicable’.
