Since the beginning of November, straightforward claims which need to be heard by a judge but do not require a tribunal panel or a full day’s hearing, for example, wages claims, have been slotted in between 6–8pm for one or two evenings a week.
Tribunals Service chief executive Kevin Sandler says: “The pilot will enable people to fit the hearings in around their usual work commitments.”
