Landmark victory for Omagh relatives

Real IRA leader Michael McKevitt has been found responsible at the High Court in Belfast for the 1998 Omagh bomb after a landmark civil case. Mr Justice Morgan found the Real IRA liable for the bomb in which 29 people and two unborn babies were killed. Liam Campbell, Colm Murphy and Seamus Daly were also found liable for the attack. Seamus McKenna was cleared. The 12 relatives have been awarded more than £1.6m in damages.
