Sections 1–7 of this Act, expected to come into force in April 2009, will repeal ss 29–33 of the Employment Act 2002 (statutory dispute resolution procedures) and s 98A of the Employment Rights Act 1996 (procedural fairness) and insert in their place a s 207A into the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 (effect of non-compliance with statutory codes of practice).
