Human rights & criminal barrister joins criminal & regulatory set
David Malone, a prominent human rights and criminal barrister, has joined criminal and regulatory set Red Lion Chambers led by head of chambers Max Hill QC. The former head of 1 Gray's Inn Square stepped down from the role earlier this year and has now tendered his resignation from the chambers. David Malone joined chambers in 1998 as a pupil before gaining tenancy in the Temple. He returned to the set a few years later and in 2010 was elected head of chambers, becoming the youngest head in the country at the time.
