Changes to the way companies have to display their names at their premises and on company documentation will be introduced next month.
From October 1, under measures brought in by the Companies Act 2006, most firms will have to display their registered name anywhere they do business, but will no longer have to put it on the outside of their buildings.
Alan Wood, corporate partner at Pinsent Masons says: “Companies will now have to have their names displayed at every place they do business which sounds more onerous, but the fact they don’t have to have it outside should make it easier to comply.”
