Applications for the CPQ are now being accepted, and CILEX has committed £275,000 to fund up to 22 scholarships annually for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The scholarship, worth up to £12,500, will cover the training costs of becoming a fully qualified CILEX Lawyer.
Applicants must show their finances and circumstances make it challenging for them to access a legal education, for example, they are young carers or received free school meals.
CILEX Chair, Professor Chris Bones said CILEX ‘is committed to improving social mobility’.
