A new award for women lawyers has been announced. WeAreTheCity.com, a website for professional women in the UK, is launching a national awards programme, the WATC Top 50 Rising Stars Awards for 2015. It will include an award for women in the law. Nominations open on 1 June. Voting opens to the public on 20 July. Meanwhile, entries are open until 5 June for the Halsbury Legal Awards 2015, in partnership with NLJ, which will take place on 16 September.
