In brief

More than half the UK’s lawyers (56%) have a secret yen to travel but don’t have the time to do so, a new survey reveals. The research, commissioned by Yahoo! Answers and conducted by Lightspeed Research using a poll of 1,010 respondents from June 2007, also shows that 35% want to improve their cooking skills and 23% want to learn Spanish as a second language. Twenty per cent feel their sports skills could do with a polish, with tennis (36%) and running (33%) the two most popular extra-curricular activities.
