IP lawyer joins firm's London office

Faegre Baker Daniels has announced that Midori Okamoto has joined the firm’s London office as an associate in the intellectual property group.

Midori has substantial experience in international, regulatory and transactional work and will be an asset to the IP group’s handling of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, commercial and IP transactions, and related matters. She advises clients in Japan, the UK and US, with particular expertise in the life sciences and technology industries.

Midori joins FaegreBD after working as a technology transactions associate at Morrison & Foerster in Tokyo and, prior to that, a corporate finance associate at O’Melveny & Myers in London. She earned a master’s degree in molecular medicine and a bachelor’s in biotechnology from Imperial College London and is admitted to practise in England and Wales and California.
