Re V (a child) (allegations of sexual abuse) [2016] EWFC 58, [2016] All ER (D) 96 (Dec)

The Family Court held that there had been egregious errors in a local authority’s handling of a case which involved allegations of sexual abuse against the father of a child. In the circumstances, the court took the opportunity to highlight, and provide guidance upon, the role and practice of local authorities when involved in allegations of abuse by one parent against another.
