The shortlist for the Law Society’s Excellence Awards has been announced.

Shortlisted nominees include Margaret Byrne, legal director of Sunderland Football Club for the category of Solicitor of the Year—in house, and Simmons & Simmons for the category of Excellence in Equality and Diversity.

Collyer Bristow LLP has been shortlisted for the category of Excellence in International Legal Services. BBC Broadcaster Mishal Husain will present the awards at a ceremony at Old Billingsgate, London on 21 October.
