Dingemans LJ to lead on international relations

Lord Justice Dingemans has been appointed lead judge for international relations for the next four years. 

He replaces Lord Justice Flaux, who has been appointed Chancellor of the High Court. Dingemans LJ, who became a Court of Appeal judge in 2019, has previously served on the International Executive Group and as lead judge for the Commonwealth. He has been chairman of the International Committee of the Bar Council and is currently a council member of the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Association.

He said: ‘I look forward to continuing the important international work of the judiciary of England and Wales in promoting the rule of law.’
