R (on the application of Duggan) v Assistant Deputy Coroner for the Northern District of Greater London [2017] EWCA Civ 142, [2017] All ER (D) 179 (Mar)

The Court of Appeal dismissed the appellant’s appeal by way of judicial review into the directions given by the coroner to the jury into the killing of Mark Duggan by a police officer in August 2011. The coroner had been found not to have erred in any way in his direction to the jury as to the issue of unlawful killing.
