Bingham Centre says farewell to Sir Jeffrey Jowell

Professor Sir Jeffrey Jowell QC, the founding director of the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law, is to stand down when his current term comes to an end in October 2015. The Centre, which launched in 2010 and is part of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, was an award winner at the 2014 Halsbury Legal Awards, in the category of Special Rule of Law. Sir Franklin Berman, chair of the Board of Trustees, says: “Jeffrey Jowell’s departure will be a great loss.”
