Research shows market remains fragmented

The wills and probate market remains fragmented despite the presence of some bigger volume players and well-known consumer brands such as the Co-op and Saga, according to the UK Wills & Probate Market Briefing, the second in a series of annual legal market briefings from IRN Research. Growth will come from more fixed price services, main media advertising and the bundling of wills with other products such as insurance and pensions, it predicts. IRN found the average will cost £124 from law firms, £84 from will writing companies and £44 from online will providers.
