Peers and MPs are calling for written evidence on the UK’s record of protecting the human rights of children. The Joint Committee on Human Rights is following up on the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child’s June assessment that children’s rights could be better protected in the UK. Submission of no more than 1,500 words are invited from interested groups and individuals on: the most significant human rights issues for children in the UK, and how the government should respond to the UN Committee’s recommendations.
