UK firms hiring not firing

The UK legal jobs market is growing, according to figures obtained by recruiters Robert Walters. For the year to date, the total number of advertised legal vacancies increased by 23% from 2013-2014. London enjoyed the largest increase (27%) while the Midlands had an 18% jobs boost and hiring in the north west remained flat. Colin Loth, director of legal recruitment at Robert Walters, says: “Hiring across transactional disciplines, including property, corporate and banking and finance, has been particularly robust.”
