The Times publishes “Top 50 Employers for Women” list

Five law firms have been named in The Times “Top 50 Employers for Women” list.

Addleshaw Goddards, Eversheds, Hogan Lovells, Norton Rose and Simmons & Simmons have made the unranked list.

Entrants submitted detailed information showing how they promote gender equality, and those chosen were able to show commitment to progressing women in the workplace, as well as demonstrating factors such as strong leadership accountability for change, target setting and unconscious bias training.

Ian Gray, senior management team member for gender diversity at Eversheds, says: “The importance of a balanced representation of men and women at all levels is huge.”

Kathryn Nawrockyi, acting director of Opportunity Now, the gender campaign which compiled the list with The Times, says: “The high number of entries and high calibre of comprehensive activity made the judging process extremely competitive.”
