Law students want the feel good factor, according to a survey by the University of Law (ULaw). Some 61% of prospective barristers and 49% of prospective solicitors said they are pursuing a career in law to help others. Three-quarters chose law for the “intellectual challenge”. A balanced lifestyle, financial security and the ability to fulfil ambitions of professional satisfaction were other key drivers for law students.
