President of ULaw retires after 18 years
Nigel Savage, the well-known President of the University of Law (ULaw, formerly known as the College of Law) is to retire from his full-time post in April after 18 years at the helm. The University Board has awarded Savage the title, Emeritus President, in recognition of his contribution. Chair of the Board, Alan Bowkett said ULaw had become “a genuinely national and international law school” under his stewardship. Savage will be replaced by John Latham, who joined ULaw last year as its chief executive officer.
