More than half of law firms believe they don’t get the ranking they deserve in legal directories, while 84% are frustrated at the time it takes to make a submission, according to a report by MD Communications, ‘Legal Directories: Are they still relevant?’ Some firms submit more than 1,000 entries each year. However, the research, issued at released at this year’s International Bar Association conference in Sydney, shows that directory rankings remain useful, with four out of five law firms use them when pitching for work.
