Will plan fill gap left by legal aid cuts?

Legal expenses insurer DAS and law firm Simpson Millar have jointly launched a pre-paid insurance plan aimed at filling the gap left by legal aid cuts. The policy, “Everyday Legal”, provides cover for civil matters including employment disputes, divorce, conveyancing, education appeals, and social care law. It costs £9.99 per month for an individual and £14.99 for a family.
