SRA confirms fee will remain unchanged

The solicitors’ practising fee is to remain unchanged for the third year running, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has confirmed. This means keeping the current 60/40 firm/individual split of practising fees and the 50/50 firm/individual split of compensation fund contributions. The SRA confirmed that work has started on a review of the practising fee and that data-gathering will begin “in the spring”.
