The inaugural Global Law Photography competition has its first winner in Magdalena Bakowska. Her winning photograph of the aridification of the Namib desert won her VIP tickets to the musical Hamilton.

The photography competition, co-run by LexisNexis and Obelisk Support, is open to anyone engaged in the legal profession, with this year’s contest supporting the lawyers at environmental charity ClientEarth. Camilla Bindra-Jones and Lauren Bruce were also commended for their entries.

Dana Denis-Smith, Obelisk Support CEO, said: ‘As business leaders, as lawyers, as individuals, we all have a part to play in creating change before it is too late for our planet. We are delighted that so many in the industry engaged with this opportunity to raise awareness and to support ClientEarth and their vital work.’

Entries for next year’s competition will open in March 2020.
