“Paperless” working may be a current buzzword but UK law firms are heading in the opposite direction, according to a study by digital print supplier Altodigital. Among more than 100 decision makers at law firms, just 11% believed they would be paper-free in five years, while 93% said the printed page would remain critical to their operation. Some 96% regularly printed out e-mails to read, while more than 80% printed in colour and single sided.
