The group
highlights that ‘although we provide legal services in all areas, there is a
particular emphasis on helping and supporting the most vulnerable groups in
society’. Consequently, lawyers will offer an initial, free consultation to
employees and workers, those needed family law advice or others affected by the
crisis, and 5% of all fees will be donated to COVID-19 charities.
PanLaw also
aims to provide a forum for lawyers and legal academics interested in
discussing COVID-19 matters. Its objectives include stimulating debate, sharing
expertise and information about related legal issues, promoting research and
awareness of the relevant laws and legal issues, and encouraging the
advancement of law reform and justice in relation to the pandemic and lockdown.
Its website
