The Justice First Fellowship scheme has funded 88 training posts for solicitors and barristers since 2014 and is currently offering trainee posts at 19 social justice organisations across the UK

Writing in NLJ this week, Fiona Bawdon, journalist and head of communications at The Legal Education Foundation (TLEF), which runs the scheme, highlights why the desire to help others continues to motivate. From an experience of street homelessness to the fall of communism, Justice First Fellows have a range of reasons for choosing social justice law as their career.

To apply for one of these incredible training opportunities, visit TLEF’s website at: bit.ly/34yJ6kP. Be quick, though, as applications close on 14 September.
