Chambers welcomes new member

New Square Chambers has announced the addition of Marcus Croskell, a barrister specialising in chancery and commercial disputes, to its team.

Called to the Bar in 2003, Marcus brings a wealth of experience and expertise in property law, trusts, wills and estates, civil fraud, commercial litigation, and offshore and international matters.

Marcus accepts instructions via solicitors and on a direct access basis, handling a broad spectrum of chancery and commercial disputes for both businesses and individuals in the UK and internationally.

His international work includes clients from the Caribbean, Africa and Asia. Recent cases have seen him tackle issues such as breaches of directors’ duties, contract breaches, complex property claims, fraud and breaches of trust.

Marcus said that he is ‘excited by the new prospects of joining New Square Chambers. New Square is renowned for its expertise and experience in a broad range of commercial and chancery work, which aligns perfectly with my experience. I look forward to working with the members and clerks of this team!’

Michelle Greene, senior clerk, said: ‘New Square Chambers are delighted to welcome Marcus Croskell to the chambers. He brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in a variety of sectors which will be of great value here in chambers.’
