Lord Justice Wilson and Jonathan Sumption QC have been appointed justices of the Supreme Court
Lord Phillips, president of the Supreme Court, said Wilson LJ would prove a “valuable asset” to the court as another judge with a family law background. He added that Jonathan Sumption QC had demonstrated “incisive intellectual rigour“ throughout his years as a barrister.
