New head at Legal Aid Agency

Senior civil servant Shaun McNally has been appointed as chief executive of the Legal Aid Agency, and will take up his post on 1 April. McNally will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the agency. He first joined the agency as director, case management in 2012. He previously worked on the courts estate reform programme. McNally replaces Matthew Coats, who is moving to a new role in operations at the Ministry of Justice.
