Both the Attorney General, Dominic Grieve QC, and the Solicitor General, Oliver Heald, have been ousted from office in the Cabinet reshuffle. Grieve will be replaced by Jeremy Wright MP, a former criminal barrister at No5 Chambers who has been an MP since 2005. He was appointed minister for prisons and rehabilitation at the Ministry for Justice two years ago, was made an Opposition Whip in 2007 and became a Government Whip in 2010. Heald will be replaced by Swindon South MP and barrister Robert Buckland, in his first government post.
