It was important that there should be judicial collaboration across state boundaries to ensure adjudication between a husband and wife was complete and comprehensive.

Where a pension was rooted and funded in jurisdiction A, and where divorce to be pronounced in jurisdiction B, with all ancillary issues to be decided according to the law of state B, that there was judicial collaboration. Such collaboration would ensure that the applicant in state B was not deprived of her pension right rooted and founded in state A.
