District Judge Paul Clarke has been appointed to the Civil Procedure Rule Committee, which makes rules of court for the Court of Appeal, High Court and County Court
He will serve for three years from 1 February 2022. Clarke J specialised in commercial litigation as a solicitor in private practice, and was appointed to the District Bench in 2014. He sits full time at the County Court at Burnley and is also a Regional Costs Judge for Lancashire and an IT Liaison Judge.
