The Association of Consumer Support Organisations (ACSO) has commented on the Court of Appeal’s judgment that compensation for mixed injuries should reflect each injury.
Lexis®Library update: ACSO has said that the judgment creates certainty on how to compensate for mixed injuries in the Official Injury Claim portal. ACSO has also commented that the government’s choice to proceed with the portal despite being warned of issues and that consumers and practitioners have had to wait until 2023 to have this resolved is unacceptable.
