Stevens & Bolton first associate member of ALF

Guildford-based national firm Stevens & Bolton is the first UK law firm to have become an associate member of the Association of Litigation Funders (ALF). ALF promotes best practice in the litigation-funding industry and campaigns to improve the uses and applications of litigation funding.

Michael Frisby, partner, Stevens & Bolton, says: “Litigation funding is a crucial issue for clients involved in commercial disputes. We anticipate that the use of litigation funding will increase in the future—particularly following the implementation of the Jackson reforms in April 2013.”
