Big Data for Law project gets go-ahead
The National Archives has received more than £550,000 funding for a project studying how we understand and use current legislation. The Big Data for Law project will provide new open data, new tools and new research methodologies for the study of current legislation. Richard Heaton, permanent secretary and First Parliamentary Counsel says: “We know people find legislation difficult. This research will help us better understand how people use law, and will give us the detailed insights we need to deliver good law.”
