Lawyers feeling stressed, burnt out or depressed are encouraged to contact the charity, LawCare this week, as the profession marks World Mental Health Day (10 October). 

The charity offers free, confidential emotional support, peer support and resources for those working in the law, and promises to listen without judgement. Its services are offered to legal professionals, support staff, students, the retired and families of legal staff in the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.

It runs a confidential helpline (0800 279 6888) as well as an online chat, can be reached by email at support@lawcare.org.uk, and offers help-sheets on its website, at www.lawcare.org.uk.
