LALY nominations call

Nominations are due in by 27 April 2015 for the 2015 Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Awards, otherwise known as “the LALYs”. The awards are organised by the Legal Aid Practitioners Group (LAPG).

The 12 categories are: children’s rights; criminal defence; family legal aid; family mediation; housing; public law; social and welfare; legal aid newcomer; legal aid barrister; legal aid firm/ not-for-profit agency; access to justice through IT; and outstanding achievement.

The Bar Council is sponsoring the awards. Entry details can be found on the LAPG website.
