Firm expands ProFin team with new partner in Birmingham

Keoghs is expanding its professional and financial risks (ProFin) team with the appointment of new partner Jo Lewis.

With over 14 years’ experience acting for insurers and their insureds in a wide variety of claims, including multi-million pound, cross-jurisdictional disputes, Jo’s expertise includes defending professional negligence claims against solicitors, construction professionals, property professionals, insolvency practitioners and accountants.

Jo, who will be in her new role from September, will be based in Birmingham, where she will lead and grow a new dedicated team.

Commenting on her appointment, Jo said: ‘Keoghs’ ProFin team has a great track record for growth and an excellent reputation for resolving professional indemnity claims and disputes quickly, and cost-effectively, with a strong emphasis on supporting clients to maintain their commercial relationships. I am thrilled to be working alongside such a strong team and to help grow the firm’s proposition in Birmingham.’

Dragos Stoica, partner at Keoghs, added: ‘We are very pleased to welcome Jo to the team. We have no doubt that her extensive experience will be invaluable to our clients, and I look forward to working with her to make our ProFin offering in Birmingham a great success.’
