First female president of Manchester Law Society joins Slater Heelis

Katharine Mellor, a former corporate partner in DWF LLP, and the first female president of the Manchester University Law Society, has joined Slater Heelis LLP as a partner. Katharine has over 30 years experience advising on corporate governance and public/private partnerships with particular reference to the health care sector. She is also involved in the setting up of charities and has held non-executive director positions with the National Blood Authority and South Manchester University NHS Hospital Trust.
