An Old Bailey judge, a solicitor and a barrister have been appointed to the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) for a three-year term

Judge Angela Rafferty KC, a senior circuit judge at the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey), will join on 9 June. Two others will join on 1 July: solicitor Nicolina Andall, who has worked in the City and at international engineering companies; and Tom Cross, of 11KBW, whose practice covers public, human rights, education and employment law.

The King, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, approved the appointments last week.
