Firm appoints new employment partner

Joanne Owers has joined DAC Beachcroft's Bristol office from City practice Fox Williams, where she was also a partner.

Formerly of Charles Russell and Baker & McKenzie, Joanne has more than 20 years' experience of providing specialist employment law advice on all aspects of HR and employment law issues to both private and public sector employers. She has particular expertise in defending high value and complex discrimination and whistleblowing claims as well as extensive experience in advising clients in the financial services sector, including those affected by the senior managers regime.

In addition, Joanne co-chairs the City HR Consultation, Legislation and Policy Committee, is a former Chair of the Employment Lawyers Association and a current member of its Legislative and Policy Committee, which plays an important role responding to key Government consultations.
