Jargon-free conveyancing wanted

Nearly half (44%) of UK consumers find it hard to choose between conveyancing firms because they ‘all seem the same’, according to research from software company, InfoTrack. However, more than half (55%) said conveyancers could gain ground by communicating better with clients. More than a third would prefer their conveyancer to use layperson language rather than legal jargon. Peter Ambrose, director of property solicitors The Partnership, said: ‘Helping consumers understand the nature of what conveyancers actually do is a recognised challenge that the majority of law firms fail to address.’
