The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) will review the Jackson reforms to civil justice costs this year, it has confirmed. The reforms, introduced in April 2013 under Pt 2 of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (LASPO 2012) covered reforms to Pt 36 offers to settle, costs budgeting and the end of recoverability of success fees and after-the-event insurance. Interested parties are invited to submit their views via an online MoJ survey by 24 August.
