The Bar Standards Board (BSB) is consulting on whether to ask barristers to specify which areas they practise in and what proportion of their income is derived from each area.
Public Access barristers would be asked what proportion of their income is derived from public access work. The BSB’s aim is to gain a better understanding of practitioners. The consultation on New Information and Registration Requirements for the Bar closes on 15 September.
