The importance of the free legal advice sector

The free legal advice sector carries on the tradition of the Magna Carta in the wake of government spending cuts, Martha de la Roche and Ruth Daniel of the Access to Justice Foundation write in NLJ this week. The Foundation is a national charity which fundraises for the sector through events such as the London Legal Walk. It will be celebrating the 800th anniversary by running bespoke events in the Magna Carta towns as well as its usual events.
