The Administrative Court dismissed the claimants’ challenge to the lawfulness of the defendant secretary of state’s examination of asylum claims of persons in immigration detention, except for her failure to meet her public sector equality duty. The only unlawfulness had been in the fourth claimant’s detention, as the secretary of state had accepted.
