The International Chamber of Commerce’s (ICC) International Court of Arbitration will publish on its website the names of the arbitrators sitting in ICC cases, their nationality, and whether the appointment was made by the court or by the parties and which arbitrator is the tribunal chairperson. The new policy aims to promote greater transparency and efficiency at the ICC and applies to all cases registered from 1 January 2016. The ICC has also introduced new rules on costs for unjustified delays in submitting awards.
