Hogan Lovells—Lisa Quelch

Partner hire strengthens global infrastructure and energy financing practice

Hogan Lovells has appointed Lisa Quelch as a partner in its infrastructure, energy, resources, and projects practice in London. She joins the firm from Latham & Watkins, further bolstering Hogan Lovells’ global infrastructure and energy capability.

Quelch advises on infrastructure and project financings, including prepayments, sponsor-covered loans, corporate financings and structured debt financings. Her practice has a particular focus on emerging markets, especially Africa, and spans the oil and gas, mining, energy and infrastructure sectors.

James Doyle, global corporate & finance practice group leader, said the firm is ‘delighted to welcome Lisa’, adding that her appointment ‘underscores our continued commitment’ to a global elite infrastructure and energy practice and supports clients on ‘their most complex financing needs globally’. Tobias Faber, global practice lead for the infrastructure, energy, resources, and projects practice, said her experience will be ‘enormously valuable’ in expanding the firm’s financing offering.

Quelch said she is ‘hugely excited to be joining Hogan Lovells’, adding that the firm’s ‘global platform and brand is incredibly strong’. She said she is looking forward to working with clients and colleagues to ‘build together a market leading global infrastructure and energy practice’.
